Facebook Competition Terms & Conditions – GAA Tickets

1. Introduction

1.1 The promoter of this prize draw is Sheridan Insurances, Wexford (the “Promoter”)

1.2 To enter the prize draw entrants will be required to register their details with the Promoter. There will be one prize which is being supplied through Sheridan Insurances Limited

1.3 By entering and participating in this competition participants are showing they agree to these Terms. All entry instructions and any other specific details relating to the competition or the prizes form part of these Terms.

 

2. Entry

2.1 To enter the prize draw entrants will be required to register their details with the Promoter

2.2 Entries will only be eligible from those who have completed the terms of the competition listed in the competition post

2.3 This competition is open to Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 and over, with the exception of employees and their immediate families of Sheridan Insurances, its agents or anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion

2.5 The Prize Winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any entrant. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any matter arising out of or resulting from the enjoyment of the Prize. The Promoter shall have no liability to the Prize Winner in the event that the Prize Winners are unable to take up the prize

2.6 Sheridan Insurances retains the right to disqualify any entrant to any competition which it considers has used inappropriate means to enter.

 

3. Prize

3.1 There will be one prize which is being supplied through Sheridan Insurances Limited.

3.2 The prize consists of 2 tickets to see Kilkenny V’s Cork in Nowlan Park on the 27th January.

3.3 There will be one prize winner (“Prize Winner”) who will be drawn from eligible entries on Monday 28th January 2019.

3.4 There will be NO cash alternative

3.5 The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend or amend the prize draw or the terms and conditions of the prize draw, with no liability to any entrants,Prize Winner or any third party. 

3.6 The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable for any reason.

 

4. The Winner

4.1 The Prize Winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries.  The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any entrant.

4.2 The Promoter shall not be responsible for any matter arising out of or resulting from the enjoyment of the Prize. The Promoter shall have no liability to the Prize Winner in the event that the Prize Winners are unable to take up the prize.

4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner, should the Prize Winner not be in a position to take up the prize or has not responded to the public Facebook announcement of the competition winner to any contact made by Sheridan Insurances Ltd. The name of the Prize Winner will be available for a period of 1 day after the winner is announced on Facebook

4.4 If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after all reasonable efforts having been made by Sheridan Insurances, Sheridan Insurances may decide to give the prize to another entrant.

4.5 The winner must be available to collect the tickets from our Kilkenny Office on Friday 25th January

 

5. Exclusion of Liability

5.1 To the fullest extent permissible by law, the Promoter shall not be liable to any entrant or prize winner for any loss or damage howsoever caused, whether direct, indirect or consequential (whether in contract, tort or statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with the prize draw and/or the Prize or the taking of the Prize.

 

6. Publicity
6.1 By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to take part in any associated publicity relating to the prize draw without further consent or payment, where required.

6.2 Contest entries and material submitted in connection with any contest (whether in written, audio, electronic or visual form, or any combination of those) or any photographs, video and/or film footage and/or audio recording taken of competitors become the property of Sheridan Insurances, which may use the material in any medium and in any way it sees fit. Copyright in any such material remains the sole property of Sheridan Insurances.

6.3 Sheridan Insurances may publicise, broadcast or otherwise disclose a competitor’s name, character, likeness, statements or any recording of his or her voice in advertising or promotional activities concerning a specific contest, or Sheridan Insurances contests generally. Sheridan Insurances may promote or advertise that a winner has won a contest.

6.4 Sheridan Insurances may include information from entrants in any contest in any database to be used for the purpose of its business. By entering a competition a contestant will automatically give permission for use of personal data and this information will be kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

 

This prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law. Any dispute arising out or in connection with this prize draw shall be dealt with exclusively by the courts of Ireland.

By entering the competition entrants are letting Sheridan Insurances Ltd know they have read and understood the competition rules and agree to stick to them.

Sheridan Insurances Ltd is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
