The protein balls that everyone is raving about

Everyone seems to be on the protein buzz lately and we have a few fitness fanatics in the office that love some healthy eating. I made these at home last night and they are so quick to make. Baking isn’t really my thing because I am terrible at measuring ingredients and I don’t like cleaning up the mess. This recipe is a no bake recipe; you only need one bowl and it’s really handy. They are lovely on the go or a handy snack to eat in the car. Check out the ingredients below, you might have most of the ingredients in the cupboards of your house.

Believe me you can’t get this recipe wrong.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of oats

1/2 cup of peanut butter

2 tbsp of honey

2 tbsp of chia seeds

1 tsp of cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup of  chocolate chips

grate in some orange zest to your choosing

Method

Put all dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.

Then add peanut butter, vanilla extract and honey to the dry ingredients.

Mix together with a spoon and eventually you will need to mix with your hands.

Roll some of the mixture in your hands until it’s about the size of a golf ball. Repeat until you have used all the mixture rolled into balls.

Then place them on a tray or plate and put them in the fridge for one hour.
