For some people, Christmas Eve can be their favourite day of the year. It’s a magical day especially if you have kids at home waiting for Santa to arrive down the Chimney! Your home becomes a very special place, with the smell of food cooking in the oven, visitors calling to wish you a Happy Christmas and maybe a trip to the local pub to have a drink with friends that only come home for Christmas.
I love going to town really early on Christmas eve for breakfast, picking up the last few bits in the shops and I travel home in the car to spend the day my friends and family. It’s so exciting just thinking about it!
